Crystel Care are specialists in Positive Behaviour Support Plans.

Hi, I’m Crystel and welcome to Crystel Care! I’m a mum of a child on the Autism Spectrum and spend over 5 years working at special schools across Adelaide. I often joked that there were more teachers in the class than students due to the complex behaviours of the students.

I realised there were greater opportunities to enrich the students lives than could be provided through the education department and so embarked on a journey through the Positive Behaviour pathway. Through this, I studied a range of courses and topics and continue to study as I love learning new and exciting ways to help our clients

After working with multiple companies in the NDIS space over a number of years, I wanted to create an environment which could offer not just traditional supports, but ones outside of the box such as ‘Gaming Therapy’. Crystel Care has experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners and Occupational Therapists who are focused on delivering supports to enrich the lives of our participants.

We offer extensive training and support to our team and always love brainstorming ways to support participants as a team, check out this awesome video of a support worker using an AAC device to engage with their participant.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do sessions look like?

First, we need to know a bit more about you, so we will conduct an initial assessment called an intake meeting with yourself and/or a family member/caregiver/guardian to help determine your support needs and goals for therapy. Next, depending on your therapy goals and funding, you can then choose to engage in one of our intensive therapy programs or we can tailor a therapy package catered to your needs and funding.

How much does it cost?

Each session is charged at the NDIS rate for the allied health service, this is usually between $193.99 & $236 per hour. There may be report writing or research that is associated with your service that isnt face to face, any non face to face charges will be discused with you at the commencement of your service with Crystel Care.

Will the therapist come to me?

Yes - our therapy approach is to deliver it in the most natural setting, this means our therapists will travel to your home, school, accommodation provider or another locatin of your choice to complete the sessions.
